Summer officially starts here at Studio Shaka for Connections PCS students. For students from grades 6 through 12, offering an amazing line-up of exciting events and diverse learning and growth opportunities that will enable summer participants to continue their education and personal growth throughout the year!

Studio Shaka offers an enriching array of summer programs designed for students in grades 6-12, fostering creativity and critical thinking through hands-on experiences. Participants can explore various fields such as Agriculture, where they learn sustainable farming practices, or dive into the Makery, a space for crafting and design. The Media program encourages students to express themselves through visual storytelling, while Entrepreneurship empowers them to develop business ideas and skills. Moreover, students can immerse themselves in Hawaiian History, gaining a deeper appreciation for local culture, or engage in the Radio program, where they can learn the art of broadcasting and audio production. With a diverse curriculum, Studio Shaka aims to inspire young minds and cultivate their passions this summer.

Enriching programs throughout the summer play a crucial role in keeping students active while also supporting their academic development as they prepare for the next school year. Engaging in structured activities helps to maintain their cognitive skills and physical well-being, reducing the risk of learning loss often experienced during long breaks from formal education. Additionally, these programs offer a unique blend of learning opportunities that foster creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork, all essential skills for future academic successes and leadership. By participating in diverse enrichment experiences, students can discover new interests, build confidence, and create lasting friendships, setting a positive foundation for the upcoming school year.
